1. What is Data Sanga Jeevan Beema Pack?

Data Sanga Jeevan Beema is a joint service by Ncell and MetLife, where Ncell customers receive exclusive life insurance bundle packages with every data purchase.

2. What is Term Life Insurance?

In the event of the death due to any cause-accident or sickness occurring anywhere in the world, except for death resulting from active participation in war or war like operations, and suicide, the benefit amount shall be paid to his/her beneficiary.

3. What is Critical Illness?

Critical illness provides payment to an insured member when the insured member is diagnosed to be suffering from the following critical illness, except pre-existing conditions, as listed and defined in the coverage commencing immediately following the waiting period (30 days).

Major Cancer, Stroke, First Heart Attack, Serious Coronary Artery Diseases, Heart Valve Surgery, Primary Pulmonary Hypertension, End Stage Lung Diseases, End Stage Liver Failure, Fulminant Hepatitis, Kidney Failure, Coma , Aplastic Anaemia, Major Organ/Bone Marrow Transplantation.

4. Who is eligible to apply for this package?

This plan is available to members aged between 18 to 60 years of age and using Ncell SIM. Coverage shall commence on the members subject to health declaration and MetLife’s confirmation.

5. What if package discontinued?

Insurance coverage shall be discontinued immediately. To continue your insurance coverage, you must subscribe the data pack every month.

6. What if the package is purchased again after being discontinued?

Term Life insurance shall be effective immediately upon package purchased. However, for critical illness 30 days waiting period shall apply.

7. Are we covered at work, at home or during vacation and travelling?

Yes. This plan provides 24 hours a day and 365 days a year worldwide protection except sanction limitations.

8. How is coverage amount determined?

Coverage amount shall be determined based on data pack purchased.

9. Who is beneficiary?

As declared in the KYC form Nominee details during the purchase of the package. Nominee should be nearest family relation (i.e. Spouse, Son, Daughter, Father, Mother).

10. How do we make a claim?

One can initiate claim through claim intimation form available at MetLife website (https://www.metlife.com.np/en/support/support-center/claims-registration) or through Ncell App.
